Well… yes and no. The Internet is a great place to meet women, but it’s not the only place. What’s more, there are skills to flirting with women online that are similar to flirting with them out at a bar or club, but there are also things that are different. Why the Internet Is a Great Place to Meet Women
Meeting women on the Internet is for every man. Gone are the days when there was a stigma attached to meeting women online. These days everyone is at it. But there are a few types of men that will get the most out of Internet dating tips:
- Guys With High Standards: If you’re very selective, the Internet allows you to be selective when you search, rather than spending half an hour getting to know a woman before you decide that the two of you are not a fit.
- Guys Who Are Busy: If you don’t have a lot of time for dating, dating on the Internet allows you to cast a broad net without spending a lot of time doing it.
- Guys Who Are Having Trouble Meeting Women: Maybe you don’t live in a big city, so you don’t have very many opportunities to go out and meet women at bars and clubs. If so, the Internet can be a great resource.
Of course, any man can augment his dating life by meeting women online… provided that he applies his skills correctly.
What’s Different About Flirting Online?
The biggest difference between flirting online and flirting in person is that you don’t have body language, facial expressions or tone of voice working for you. The way to compensate for this? Emoticons, especially Emojis. We know that a lot of men can be reticent to use these, but using them when you flirt with a girl online or over text can make all the difference in the world when it comes to getting that date.
Move it to a Social Network
One of our Internet dating tips is to move things to a social network like Facebook as soon as possible. This is because you can learn a lot more about who she really is — as opposed to who she wants you to think she is — on a social network profile. You might find red flags here (or, alternately, big green ones) that you’d never see on her dating profile.
Get That Date!
Of course, it all comes down to getting that date. So how do you do that? After you two flirt and chat for a bit, tell her that you think the two of you should get together some time. Maybe it’s just a drink, maybe it’s a more involved activity. Whatever it is, get her off the Internet and up close and in person.
