Chris Ducker, author of Virtual Freedom, has 22 years in the sales industry behind him, along with 11 years in the outsourcing world alone.  That pretty much makes him an OG, an outsourcing ‘guru’ who has put points on the board long before any of us had even heard of outsourcing for our own small businesses!  He’s also a speaker, a blogger and an ex-pat badass.

Outsourcing is the best thing that you can do to buy more time and add more productivity in your business. As an entrepreneur, outsourcing will help you get things done quicker and more efficiently while saving you time to focus on high-level activities.

Chris comes to us long-distance from his palatial estate (n.b. I have no evidence for that statement) located in the Philippines, to discuss:

  • His outsourcing businesses (call center, virtual assistants/staff, co-working space).
  • We pick up where Tim Ferris left off with Brickwork and outsourcing to Virtual Assistants.
  • Outline the different types of outsourcing and dispel some myths about it.
  • The size of businesses that can outsource: how big do you need to be?
  • How to hire and MANAGE a GREAT Virtual Assistant (components of a good hire).
  • Why you don’t have to always hire someone from the other side of the world.
  • What type of tasks should we outsource first, and
  • The three lists that will make you 10x more effective as an entrepreneur

Chris helps us we don’t have to do everything ourselves. The notion that if you want to get anything done right then you have to do yourself doesn’t work! Learn to hire people to do things for you, especially things you don’t like doing, and run your business from anywhere in the world.

If you don’t have your own biz, this episode will still get you thinking about what you can outsource in your own life, or how you might change the way you’d start working for yourself.

As usual, enjoy!
