Is your weight affecting your dating life? What if I told you that it didn’t have to. I’m not going to sit here and lie to you and tell you that it “doesn’t matter.” Instead, I’m going to tell you that it probably doesn’t matter nearly as much as you think and that there are tons of bigger dudes out there with smokin’ hot girlfriends. Believe me — I see them all the time. So what can you do to make your dating life better? Here are a few dating tips for guys.
Women Like All Types
First, realize that women like all types. For every woman that’s into beefy gym rat bodies, there’s another woman who’s into big, burly dudes. For every woman that’s into big, burly dudes, there’s another who’s into scrawny little twig dudes. You see? For every type of man, there’s a woman out there who thinks that’s perfect. So stop beating yourself up and realize that there are women who are going to like your body how it is.
Your Personality Matters More
What’s more, your personality matters more. Working on that is going to help you pull women. Being funny, challenging women and knowing how to engage in witty sexual banter are great ways to attract women no matter what you look like.

Here’s the thing: While guys like how a woman looks and then find things they like about her personality, women are much more likely to find a man attractive because of his personality. I’m not telling you that your personality is going to make every woman like you — I’m just saying that, as I stated above, how you look probably matters a lot less than you think.
Hitting the Gym: Do It For YOURSELF
I urge all men to hit the gym and offer it as one of the dating tips for guys of all sizes. It’s just part of being a healthy adult. What’s more, if you’re overweight that can be related to a lot of major health problems. So hit the gym, but not because it’s going to get you all the women. In fact, it won’t, but it might make your sex and dating life better because you’re more confident and comfortable in your own skin. Fewer things are sexier than that.
Hitting the Gym: Cheerleading Yourself
If you do decide that you’re going to hit the gym, don’t be the least bit ashamed of cheerleading yourself the whole way. If you’re not an active person, making that kind of change in your life is one of the hardest things that you can do. Every day that you go to the gym, pat yourself on the back. Every time that you push yourself, pat yourself on the back. Every time that you meet one of your fitness goals, pat yourself on the back.
