In order to maintain peak performance as you age, it is important to understand the flow state. Flow state is when you are doing something and you are so focused on the task that you forget about everything and time seems to slip by without you noticing. For unknown reasons, tapping into this flow state as often as possible will keep you feeling young and energetic as you age. While the flow state can be achieve indoors and outdoors, its the time you spend outdoors that counts more. We have an unseverable link to the natural world, and it turns out trying to separate ourselves from it results in aging faster and dying younger.
